About This Project

Jorges Salman Architects was appointed to create a residential development for a single dwelling on a garden plot in Haringey. The site includes an existing garage/store room which will become the ground floor base structure for the new dwelling. JSA has produced a scheme which is sustainable, and utilises the existing structure to ensure an efficient retro-fit solution to a need to produce a new, unique home. The design inspiration has been led by the adjacent Victorian properties, but has included a contemporary twist with the use of modern materials, movement of the facade angles, which juxtapose the neighbouring bay window forms.
